Teatr A PART is contemporary visual and physical
theatre company, formed by Marcin Herich, director and organizer of theatre events. Teatr
A PART realizes his author's non-verbal spectacles, created by
method of visual narration.
The performances of the A PART operate with wide scale
of artistic means, full of symbols and metaphors on
all levels of artistic impact. In area of senses performances
of the A PART enter deep into human instincts and
secrets of existence, into meanings which are almost
imponderable.
Important part of artistic
idea of Herich's theatre works are experiments with
staging and performing space so, for instance, some
of the theatre works are prepared for outdoor, street or/and unconventional
performing area.
The Teatr A PART spectacles often consist of expressive
or intimate acting, dance, shadows, masks, nudity, stilts, light effects and elements.
Extravagant and emotional spectacles of Marcin Herich,
created in the experimental Teatr Cogitatur before
and in the A PART now, were presented during
many festivals and events in many countries (Bylarus, Brazil,
Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Greece,
Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia,
Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden and Turkey).

The temporary places for artistic activity for Teatr A PART are the old Movie
Theatre Hall
in the industrial area of Katowice and
Uppersilesian Centre of Culture in Katowice.
